Rovinj is located on the western coast of Istria and is one of Croatia’s most popular historic seaside towns. Its densely built old town occupies a former island and rises from the harbour towards the Church of St Euphemia and its prominent bell tower.
Rovinj is best suited to couples, photographers, food-focused travellers and visitors who want to combine a historic town with swimming and coastal walks. The main attractions are the old town, St Euphemia’s Church, the harbour, Batana House and Golden Cape Forest Park. It is attractive and easy to explore on foot, but accommodation, restaurants and parking can be expensive during the summer season.
